DRONE MADE FOR CINEMA
DroneCast offers the very best in drone technology for fiction movies.
The Mavic 3 for technical drone scouting, or 3D drone modeling of sets. The Inspire 2 & X7 for TV series and movies, economical and versatile, its image quality "matches" other cameras when light conditions are not extreme.
The heavy-duty drone with an Alexa Mini LF for cinematographers wanting to use the on-set optics, complex lighting conditions and / or drone shots requiring a lot of post-production.
The CINELifter FPV for high-speed shots. We also offer a light drone service.

We're going to distinguish two families of drones : stabilized drones and FPV drones.
each family of camera drones is different, and will allow for different types of movement, camera position and rendering.

STABILIZED DRONE
From the Cine Mavic 3, through the timeless Inspire 2 and Zenmuse X7, to our flagship Alta 8, which can carry today's finest cinema cameras (ARRI Alexa Mini, ARRI Alexa 35, Red Monstro...), all are stabilized drones. These drones are equipped with gyro-stabilized gondolas for perfect image stability. They're quick and easy to set up, and have good autonomy.
Although they can move quickly, their dynamic characteristics make them particularly suitable for cinematography.
FPV DRONE
The FPV drone, for "First Person View", is a mode of aerial photography carried out by drones from the world of racing : racer drones.
These drones are very light and extremely powerful. They are agile and infinitely reactive, making it possible to achieve the most improbable shots, gravity having no hold on these drones. Whether it's following close behind a speeding car, weaving through the trees of a forest, diving down a cliff or circling an actor in 3 dimensions, a whole new creative field is open.
We have different types of FPV drone, able to carry up from the Gopro Hero 11 to the Red Komodo or FX6 via our cinelifters, or with a dual-operator gimbal drone.
FLIGHT REQUEST MANAGEMENT
As we move all over France and abroad, we have to constantly adapt to current flyings laws and regulations of the moment. Working closely with the DGAC and the various prefectures, we are able to obtain the necessary authorizations always on time.

Flying near airports, urban areas, near or in sensitive sites, in military zones, in nature parks .... all of this is possible if you have the authorizations. And this, we know how to do ! The minimum timing is 5 working days for flights in built-up areas, for example. For some sites, the time required to obtain the necessary authorizations can take more than 1 month.
